About Your Management Company

The Spofforth Park Management Company (SPMC) is here to keep our estate looking great and running smoothly. Every homeowner owns their own property, but we also share responsibility for the private roads, green spaces, play areas, six apartment buildings managed by SPMC, and two apartment buildings managed by Leeds Federated Housing Association (LFHA), along with other parts of the estate we all enjoy.

SPMC makes sure these shared areas are looked after properly. We do this by working with trusted contractors, managing the estate’s budget, and making decisions that protect the look, feel, and value of our community. Our three main contractors are Pure Block Management (PBM) as our managing agent, Clean & Tidy (C&T) for grounds maintenance, and our appointed Auditors who review our accounts each year. We also work closely with LFHA where our responsibilities overlap.

What We Do

  • Keep the estate tidy and safe – From mowing the grass to maintaining communal areas and the six apartment buildings we manage.
  • Manage service providers – Appointing and checking the work of PBM, C&T, and other contractors.
  • Look after the finances – Collecting service charges, monitoring budgets, and having our accounts independently audited.
  • Protect the estate’s character – Ensuring the covenants in each property’s TP1 deed are followed.
  • Stay in touch – Updating residents on projects, works, and any issues.

SPMC is run by resident directors, supported by a volunteer committee. Together, we work to make Spofforth Park a place we can all be proud to call home.
