To keep the estate safe and fair for everyone, please follow these guidelines when visiting or working at Spofforth Park.
👥 Visitor Parking
- Visitor bays are for short-term use only by guests and tradespeople.
- Please park within marked bays.
- Overnight or long-term use of visitor spaces is not allowed.
- If bays are full, check with the resident you are visiting before parking elsewhere.
🚙 Roadside Parking
- Some through-roads on the estate may be used for parking, provided you do not block driveways, junctions, or sightlines.
- Please do not park on grass verges, pavements, or landscaped areas.
- Keep enough space for emergency services, refuse lorries, and deliveries to pass safely.
- Long-term roadside parking is not suitable in residential areas and may inconvenience neighbours.
🔑 Shared Driveways
- Shared driveways are private access routes and not for visitor or trades parking.
- They must be kept clear at all times for the households who use them.
- Do not block or obstruct these driveways, even for a short period.
🛠 Tradespeople and Contractors
- Use visitor bays first, or park on a through-road if safe to do so.
- For larger vans or equipment, agree parking with the resident before starting work.
- Remove vehicles promptly when the job is complete.
- Be mindful of noise, waste, and working hours – this is a residential community.
✅ Quick Reminders
- Visitor bays = visitors and trades only, short stays.
- Some through-roads can be used for parking, but keep access clear.
- No overnight parking unless agreed with the resident in advance.
- No blocking of shared driveways, verges, or pavements.
- Please park considerately and safely.
